Dear parents and carers,

Important information – please read carefully

At last! We have the news that we have all been waiting for – our school will be open to children from Monday, 8th March. Schools have been sent 63 pages of comprehensive guidance from the Department for Education. Having read this at length, it appears that the general expectation is for schools to operate under similar principles to what we did in the autumn term, which is great.

As we have done this before, I have decided to open fully to all children on Monday 8th. In order to do this and avoid a staggered return over the week, parents MUST enter the school at the given time for their year group and at the correct entrance. As before, if you have a child in more than one class, please drop off and pick up your children at the earliest given time. For this to operate successfully, we all must work together and following these instructions. I am also asking for all adults to wear face coverings on school grounds.

Start and Finish times

The pandemic has been an awful time for everyone; hopefully, there is now hope that we can get some normality back in the foreseeable future. I am sure that there will be new challenges to overcome in the forthcoming weeks, but it will be lovely to see everyone back in the school.

Yours sincerely,

Nick Anderson
