ABC, Amazing, Beautiful Children

As we approach the summer break, we want to share some of the brilliant ABC have been doing.

 

Literacy: Building Super Sentences

Our young writers have been sharpening their grammar skills with a fun vocabulary challenge.

Children selected random words directly from their reading books. They worked hard to rearrange these words into completely new, sensible sentences. This really tested their understanding of sentence structure and word order! 

Maths: Hands-On Measurement Exploration

In maths, we moved away from worksheets to explore how measurement works in the real world. The children have been using a wide variety of practical tools, including:

Tape measures and trundle wheels, weighing scales, thermometers and water jugs

A Huge Well Done!

We are incredibly proud of all the children. They have shown wonderful curiosity, perseverance, and cooperation throughout and because of this they enjoyed an amazing fun morning, building dens and thoroughly soaking Mrs Smith and Mrs Bell.

We hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing holiday. Have fun, stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready to learn in September!
