Friday 17 July 2026 Super Powers In Literacy this half term, the children have been busy writing their own sections of our class book, Super Powers by Alex Cliff. Using story maps and storyboards, they planned their ideas carefully before bringing their stories to life in writing. A key focus has been on using speech to help show how characters are feeling, encouraging the children to think more deeply about character development and expression. They've also been working hard to extend their sentences, adding extra detail to engage and inform the reader. It's been wonderful to see their creativity and confidence as writers continue to grow!
