We have had the good fortune to start working with Bonnie, Laura and their colleagues at IntoUniversity this year. They have been into all of our KS2 classes so far, doing workshops on raising aspirations, opening minds to further education and letting our children know about what is out there in the world for them. It has been great! However, they also have their own centre on William Street in Felling, where they offer academic support to children - helping with homework, giving tuition and providing a safe and comfortable place for children to develop their thinking, apply their learning and have new and interesting experiences. This year's sessions (all free) are available until July 8th, so there is only a short time to give it a go this term, but they are very happy for people to call in and have a chat or to give them a ring about what they offer. Some of our children already go after school on Mondays and are loving it. This really is a fabulous opportunity, especially for our year 4, 5 and 6 children. They will be starting up again in September for the new academic year.

We will be working with the team in school again from the autumn and very much look forward to a long and fruitful partnership.
