Tech4Communities – Free Devices for Gateshead Residents

The Digital Poverty Alliance has reopened applications for the Tech4Communities scheme. This initiative helps people in Gateshead access essential digital devices.

What’s available
Donated devices (mobile phones, tablets and laptops) have been securely wiped and professionally refurbished for reuse in the community. This work is supported by the Digital Poverty Alliance and Connected Voice.

Who can apply
You may be eligible if you:

• Are aged 18 or over
• Live in Gateshead
• Do not currently have access to a suitable device

How to apply

• Complete a short application form
• Provide a professional (not related to you) to verify your application
• Once approved, a device will be delivered to your home
• Support information will be provided to help you get started
